Sin’s mother, the owner, can not make it in to the store anymore due to heath issues, so Sin has completely taken over the store’s management. He said the transition was easy as he had been “running around the store” since he was a little boy.
David Owens works as a volunteer for the Columbia wage initiative requesting signatures on the corner of 9th and Cherry. Owens served in the Navy during the cuban missile crisis on the CA141 flagship, he ended up in Columbia working construction then janitorial staff for the university after a long search for any financial stability.
